At a possible cost of upto £30 billion, it is an enormous waste of public resources. It is equivalent to more than the standard MoD budget, worth dozens of hospitals or could educate the world 3 times over (at costs estimated in 2011 by the Treasury to be around £10bn. It is shameful that a Labour govenment is not decommissioning when given the chance. - Tom H ======
It is not shameful at all, that a Labour government is not decommissioning, but it is with pride and faith that a Labour government is securing the defence and security of the United Kingdom, something of which we should all be pleased with, in the knowledge that our safety is paramount to the government. |
