Craig Potter
Labour Candidate for Swalecliffe By-Election

A new, strong voice for Swalecliffe.

Craig, 42 is a university lecturer, HR and Equalities specialist and trades union caseworker who loves supporting people to solve their challenges. He uses a wheelchair and understands first hand, the difficulties many of us face. He believes services should be accessible to all and benefit everyone. He has lived in Whitstable for 16 years and is a Dr Who fan.

  • A proud council tenant, Craig has been a Social Housing Manager working to improve council homes. He will fight for decent homes maintenance and fairness for people renting
  • A parent of three daughters who are at school, Craig will work to improve parking decisions and especially parking around the school. Our pavements need fixing too.
  • A greener, safer environment benefits us all. Craig supports the Swalecliffe nature reserve and will work with you to preserve and protect it.

This last year has been tough. As your councillor Craig will support your family and businesses.  Our children’s mental health and well-being is an issue close to his heart. As the son of a retired police officer, he understands what feeling safe in your neighbourhood means.

One more Labour councillor really does make a difference. Vote for positive change in Swalecliffe.
