Many residents are worried about job security and employment issues due to the pandemic. I believe that Kent County Council must play a leading role in helping our residents and the local economy get back on its feet.
KCC needs to support our city council with the regeneration of our high streets and as your councillor I will listen to local businesses to pursue ways for them to thrive going forward.
As a Labour trade union liaison officer and an employment working group organiser for the local party, I will engage in a positive proactive relationship with staff trade unions recognising the benefit they bring in representing our hard-working residents.
As the Labour and Co-operative party candidate for Canterbury City North I will support moves towards more sustainable models of business where Community mutual and Cooperative approaches offer opportunities for local people to be at the heart of local business.
On the 6th May you have the chance to vote for a Kent County Councillor who will look to find solutions to the issues that matter to you.
